Hello! This list showcases most of the unrated extreme demons in GD as of 23.07.2018
This is an attempt to show RobTop how abandoned the game is an make him actually care even if a bit. So I kindly ask you if you can, please pin RobTopGames to this thread. GD is really dying now at a faster pace. Hopefully by featuring at least some of these demons some new life can be blown into the game.

There's a top 100 unrated demons list out there that everybody seems to not know about. The list is the link below and there's a discord server as well.

It's fairly inaccurate but it's still there nonetheless

Like ethan said, some of them are rated (although fairydust v2 is rated insane)

Some of these are so old that they don't look good (which is only qualification for a rate in Rob's eyes, with a few exceptions), like Planet Circles and TUP Infinity. Some are hacked, and a few aren't even trying to get rated.

Effort is one of the most important factors when a level is to be rated. This includes the verification effort. Work shouldn’t be put to waste.

I disagree. When work is put into something that isn't worth it, work is already being wasted.

1. Effort in verification isn't an important factor when it comes to deciding what and what not to rate. Other factors are.

Levels in Geometry Dash are meant to be a showcase of what a certain players can achieve in the level creator, whether it be good decoration, gameplay, ingenuity, or all three. So why then, should a level that has none of these qualities, be rated over a level that does, just because the verifier put more effort into beating the level because it's difficult? I'm completely fine with extreme demons being rated as long as they are good. If a lot of these extreme demons had the difficulty of average 5-6* levels, then no one would be clamoring for them to get rated. Sure, I may be moving the goalposts with the comparison but I don't care. The day that difficulty basically guarantees a rating for an otherwise mediocre level is a day which I hope never comes.

2. There's no real reason for rating these levels in the first place, except...

Attention. If these levels were to go on the "Official" Demons List, (which, bear in mind, requires demons to be rated in order to be on the list), then the people who beat them would get more recognition. Simple as that. My only issue is that, if these levels were as hard as the community and the verifiers make them out to be, then why does the issue of the level's rating even matter? You already beat a level which many could only dream of doing, so just having the achievement of being good enough to beat a nigh-impossible level should hold its own weight, right? But no. Many players aren't content with that. They want to be known; on social media, YouTube, wherever on the internet they go. And getting their names on a well-known list within the community is one stepping stone towards attaining their goal; they want people to know that they're better than the others, even though people already do.

3. "If RobTop rated [bad level], why doesn't he rate this bad level, too?"

Before you accuse me of a strawman's argument, I've seen this multiple times across numerous levels and some social media platforms. This is a dangerous way of thinking within the community. By doing this, we're effectively encouraging Rob to rate levels that aren't relatively good, and justify it because he's made worse mistakes in the past, whether it be once, twice, or even frequently. I see people bring up some questionable rating decisions from RobTop from Buckle Your Pants to Hungry Humphrey, to Buff This. And whenever something isn't rated, there's always a chance that someone says "I can't believe that RobTop rated Buckle Your Pants but not [insert demon here]". Luckily, I've seen this statement a lot less now, or maybe it's because I've distanced myself from the community.

I do agree that some extreme demons do deserve to be rated. But there’s a reason that a lot of these ones haven’t been for a long time. Many of these just don’t cut it; they’re boring, annoying, messy, uncreative, lazy, you know, the sorts. And when “effort” is the only thing you have going for your level, that’s not a good sign.
